The Viking Lottery requires players to match 6 out of 48 numbers to win the jackpot. Players pick six numbers plus two Lucky Numbers, and those Lucky Numbers will assist in winning the secondary tier prizes. Big Danish Lotto Winners
The biggest single win to date on the Danish Lottery was by a family from Copanhagen, who won 38.5 million kr. on the Viking Lotto in March 2008. However in 2009, a total of three ticket holders shared a jackpot of 72 million kr., taking home 24 million kr. each.
